Three men have been arrested after a haul of firearms, ammunition and drugs were found in a takeaway restaurant.
Metropolitan Police officers executed a firearms warrant at a takeaway outlet in Crossway Parade, Tottenham, on Wednesday (July 31).
Search teams seized two self-loading pistols, a revolver, ammunition and Class A drugs, Scotland Yard said.
A stolen van parked outside the restaurant was also recovered by officers.
Three men, aged 31, 34 and 35, were all arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm; possession of ammunition; possession with intent to supply Class A drugs; and theft of a motor vehicle.
They all remain in custody for questioning.
Officers are working to reduce firearm and drug-related crime in London through the A New Met for London plan while building trust with local communities.
Local police officers are engaging with residents and tackling issues including neighbourhood crime, anti-social behaviour and serious violence.
Detective Inspector Damian Hill, who is leading the investigation, said: “Every arrest we make in connection with firearms and drugs is a step towards making London safer.
"It sends a clear message that we are committed to protecting our neighbourhoods.
“With the help of local people in Tottenham and beyond, we’re gathering intelligence and pursuing offenders.
"We want residents to feel confident that we will listen to their concerns and take action against those who threaten their safety.
“The fight against drugs and firearms is a collective effort. When we make an arrest, it’s not just a win for the Met, but a win for every Londoner who deserves to live in a safe environment free from the fear of violence and crime”.
