Four people have been rushed to hospital after a fire at a block of flats in Northolt.
London Fire Brigade received 24 calls about the fire in Newmarket Avenue shortly after 1.30pm this afternoon (July 31).
A flat and half of the roof of the block was on fire, and four people had to be taken to hospital.
Video footage posted online showed large plumes of smoke filling the sky above the block of flats.

One of the brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene to help fight the fire from above.
The fire was under control shortly after 3.15pm, and its cause is now under investigation.
Crews from Northolt, Ruislip, Wembley and surrounding fire stations all attended the scene.
