A rabbi has denied two charges of sexual assaulting a woman.
Aaron Halpern, also known as Chaim Halpern, 65, of Golders Green, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault charges on a woman alleged to have taken place between June 1 and July 31 in 2022.
A probe was launched by Scotland Yard into Halpern when officers were made aware of an interview broadcast in December 2022.
In it, an unnamed woman claimed she had been a victim of sexual offences that had occurred in London.
Halpern was arrested in March 2023.
He appeared at Hendon Magistrates Court on Friday (May 17) and is due to stand trial on June 4.
