Ten people fled two burning homes as fire spread to both sides of a semi-detached house.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to the blaze at a semi-detached house in Braemar Gardens in Colindale on Saturday.
Most of the ground and first floor of one house were damaged, which also affected half of the ground floor, part of the first floor and a small part of the fascia of a neighbouring house.
The London Fire Brigade's 999 control officers took 20 calls regarding the fire, starting at 8.36pm.
Ten people left the building before crews arrived and the fire was under control by 9.54pm
There are no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters from Mill Hill, Hendon, Stanmore and Finchley fire stations attended the scene.
