A new pub is set to open on the site of a former gastropub after “significant investment” by its new owners.
The former Bokor cafe bar in Kilburn High Road, which closed down in January, will soon reopen as The Kilburn Bridge.
The Craft Union Pub Company has invested in a major refurbishment, and says it hopes to open the new venue at the end of the month.
A spokesperson for Stonegate, which partners with Craft Union, said: “The Kilburn Bridge, formerly known as Bokor, is set to reopen on February 29 following a significant investment from the Craft Union Pub Company, which has provided an uplifting refresh to the venue.
“New operators look forward to welcoming the community back to the transformed space at the end of the month.”
Craft Union submitted a licensing application to Brent Council on February 2 to change the name of the premises to The Kilburn Bridge, amend the conditions made by police and tremove some of the booth partitioning.
Brent Council says the consultation end date for the application is March 1. Visit https://www.brent.gov.uk/business/licences-and-permits/alcohol-club-and-entertainment-licences/premises-licence#comment to comment
