Pupils are said to “thrive” at a primary school where Ofsted inspectors praised exemplary behaviour.
The education watchdog says Kingsgate Primary School in Kingsgate Road, Kilburn, continues to be an ‘outstanding’ school - its highest rating - after an inspection on November 7 and 8.
In a report published this month, inspectors wrote: “They are happy to attend because of the caring adults around them.
“Pupils settle incredibly well and form strong relationships with their classmates and their teachers.
“The atmosphere is calm and respectful, and pupils demonstrate confidence and positive attitudes.”
Such opportunities include visiting the Royal Courts of Justice to take on court role activities.
The report continued: “The school has a simple and effective approach to behaviour management.
“Pupils are ‘ready, respectful and safe’ in how they interact with each other and with staff. Disruption in class is very rare, with pupils’ attitudes being positive and focused on their learning.”
Headteacher Meg Jones said: “We are delighted that Kingsgate has, again, been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
"The inspectors commented on our highly ambitious curriculum, which enables pupils to develop their individual passions.
"Staff at Kingsgate keep pupils at the heart of every decision and we are immensely proud of what they achieve.
“As the report says, ‘Pupils thrive at this school.’”
