A two-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a pick-up truck.
Police were called to reports of a crash between a vehicle and a child on the A1 Great North Way, close with the junction of Ashley Lane in Hendon, on Tuesday (November 7).
Shortly after 2.10pm, emergency services were at the scene and a boy, 2, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. The Metropolitan Police say his family are aware.
The driver of the truck, which had a trailer attached, stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who saw the incident or captured it on dashcam.
