A man charged after a woman cyclist was killed in a crash is set to appear in court later this month.
Martin Reilly, 29, of Caldecott Way, Lower Clapton, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and interfering with a vehicle on September 25.
A 36-year-old woman died after a car collided with her bike in Whiston Road, Hackney, on September 21.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 6.45pm alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
The cyclist was rushed to hospital where she died in the early hours of the next day (September 22).
Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Reilly appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on September 25, and will next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on October 23.
A 49-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of casing death by dangerous driving has been released by police with no further action taken.
