A 16-year-old girl is set to perform the national anthem in front of more than 10,000 rugby fans.
Naomi Simon will perform for her biggest live audience yet when England’s women’s rugby team, Red Roses, face Canada at Saracens stadium in Hendon tomorrow (September 30).
The singer, who won BBC Young Chorister of the Year in 2022, has said that she “can’t wait” for her big moment.
Naomi, whose family is originally from Hendon, added: “I am so honoured...what an opportunity!”
StoneX Stadium can hold up to 10,500 rugby fans, but Naomi is no stranger to performing in front of a large audience.
The award-winning singer was a chorister at York Minster and has also sung at Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square.
