A park was closed as police investigated reports of a rape.
Watling Park in Burnt Oak was cordoned off yesterday (September 25), with access restricted for much of the day, after the alleged incident took place at around 2.15am that morning.
The Metropolitan Police said that the victim is being supported by specialist officers and at this stage no arrests have been made.
A spokesperson said: “The public should expect to see extra officers on patrol in the area. We would remind people to be aware of their surroundings and to speak to officers with any concerns.”
Anyone with information is asked to speak to officers at the scene or call 101.
