A man has been arrested after a man was raped in a car park near a Tube station after a night out.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was outside Edgware underground station in Station Road on his way home from a night out with friends at around 12.40am on September 6.
He was approached by a man who began talking to him, who then allegedly raped him in a nearby car park area, Scotland Yard said.
The victim continues to be supported by specially trained officers.
Following enquiries, a 31-year-old man was arrested in Hendon today (September 19).
He was taken to a North London custody suite for questioning where he remains.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are still keen to speak with any witnesses or anyone with any information.
