Around 40 firefighters were scrambled to a block of flats after a blaze broke out in a boiler room.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) sent six fire engines to the fire in Medawar Drive, Mill Hill, yesterday morning (September 11).
Crews were called to the blaze in the flats’ boiler room just after 9am.
It took firefighters more than an hour to extinguish the fire, with the incident declared under control at around 10.15am.
Crews from Mill Hill, Finchley and Hendon fire stations attended the scene.
A LFB spokesperson said that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
