A Jewish man was stabbed in Golders Green last night, just metres from the scene of double stabbing in April.
The 55-year-old man was stabbed with a knife in Woodstock Avenue at about 8.40pm.
A police spokesman said the man was found with a single wound under his arm, but the injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
He was taken by ambulance to a north London Hospital in a stable condition.
A 39-year-old man, who is also Jewish, was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at a north London police station.
The police spokesman added that a knife was recovered from the scene last night.
The incident follows the double stabbing of two Orthodox Jews in Beverley Gardens and The Drive on April 25.
Mohamed Jama Ahmed, 37, of North Circular Road, Cricklewood, was charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with the attacks and is appearing today at Wood Green Crown Court for a trial date to be set.
