A woman had to be airlifted to hospital after falling from a building in Colindale this afternoon.
The woman, who has not been named, suffered serious injuries when she fell from an upper floor of the four-storey flats in Annesley Avenue.
The ambulance service was called to Silk House at about 3.45pm to reports of a person falling from a height.
A police spokesman said they were alerted after a resident reported seeing a woman standing on an outside ledge of the building.
Two ambulances, a duty officer and the air ambulance attended the scene where they found a woman in her thirties suffering from multiple injuries.
She was flown to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, where she is said to be in a serious condition.
