A driver who did not stop after a pedestrian was hit by a car has been arrested.
Road closures were in place within the Colindale stretch of Edgware Road, near to Colindeep Lane, after a male was hit on Saturday (June 24).
Emergency services were at the scene at 10.15am and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment, where he was found to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Metropolitan Police says the driver of the car did not stop, but he was found a short time later.
The man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop.
He currently remains in police custody.
Road closures have since been lifted in Edgware Road, but enquiries into the incident continue.
