A free community inspired music and cultural extravaganza will be held today for residents.
The East Finchley community festival, which is the longest standing free festival in the borough, is starting at noon in Cherry Tree Wood.
A mix of more than 60 stalls offering everything from herbal remedies and massages, to gardening and art will be set up alongside a food marquee and beer tent, which will be available to revellers until 6pm.
A huge line-up of bands from the area have also been organised to perform live throughout the day, with volunteers helping set up bouncy castles, roundabouts, and the Barnet adventure tent to keep the children entertained.
A festival spokesman said: "As the name suggests the East Finchley community festival is all about involving the community that encompasses and surrounds the area.
"Every year the festival draws people from many walks of life and involves a variety of community groups."
He added: "So come on down with your family and friends and enjoy East Finchley's unique blend of music, performance, arts and crafts, safe in the knowledge that you'll be mixing with N2's finest."
