An Edgware repair shop has been closed indefinitely due to serious damage from a fire.
The blaze at F1 Repairs damaged the roof of the single-storey building, making it unsafe to work in.
Asan Alyeei, who works at the shop, said: "The roof has been blown off by the fire.
"We can't go inside because it's too hazardous, and to be honest, there's no time scale for when we will be open again."
Firefighters were called to the blaze at the shop, in Ballards Mews, at around 5.15pm yesterday.
About ten workers at the garage were forced to flee from the building when the fire broke out, and could only watch as firefighters arrived to tackle the blaze.
Mr Alyeei said workers think the fire broke out in the repair shop's spraying booth, possibly because of a faulty oven.
He said it had only recently had a service costing more than £1,000, and he did not know what had gone wrong.
Fire investigators are now trying to establish the cause of the fire, and will be working to make the building secure.
Mr Alyeei praised the work of the fire brigade for saving the shop from complete ruin.
