Scene on the Green, Hertswood School Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood, Wednesday, July 2, 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
Hertswood School has been a designated arts college for three years, and continues to showcase the work of its students in this annual event.
The evening will consist of drama, dance, brass band music, film work by media students and other arts performances all aimed at keeping visitors entertained.
There will also be food and drink and a disco, and the evening finishes with a fireworks display.
Headteacher Jan Palmer Sayer says: "The evening has an informal, festival atmosphere - last year it felt like the first summer party of the year. It's a celebration of creativity within the school and with everyone we work with - primary schools, care homes, and local groups like the Com.unity Choir.
"We love welcoming the community over our threshold. Many people who will be interested are the family of our students, but there are other people out there keen to see what goes on here as well."
Tickets cost £5 (concessions £3) and are available by calling 020 8238 7252.
