The Water Margins, Tottenham Marshes and the River Lee, Watermead Way, Tottenham, Sunday, 11am to 7pm.
A day of picnic and performance awaits as the Lee Valley Festival presents its finale, organised by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
The event is part of the national Love Parks Week, which promotes the role parks play in children's health.
Among the entertainment will be dramatic episodes of local history expressed through song, a global musical showcase, a fish-shaped boat that spouts fireworks and people dressed as giant, mischievous birds.
One of the organisers Helen Maleed says: "The Water Margins will be a fun, friendly, and free day out. Kids will love the giant squabbling seagulls, the live music stage will have everyone dancing, and the whole family can enjoy the guided nature walks and free river cruises.
"Bring a picnic and stay for the day."
There will be a free shuttle bus running between Tottenham Hale Tube station and the Lee Valley Athletics Centre throughout the day.
