Time will turn back to the 1940s at Colindale tube station this weekend.
The station will receive an Edwardian-style make over, complete with period costumes for station staff, in one of a series of events being organised by the RAF museum.
The museum, in nearby Grahame Park Way, is organising a series of events in celebration of the 90th birthday of the RAF and the centenary of powered flight in Britain.
Staff will be dressed as 1940s station masters and the platforms and ticket office decked out with rosettes, buntings and flags. Photos of the station and the area's community dating back to the 1920s will be on display.
Members of the RAF museum will join staff at the station and be on hand to answer questions about the celebrations.
