A vehicle fire on the M25 closed one carriageway earlier today (January 26).
A van was destroyed by the fire and the motorway was shut clockwise between junctions 24 and 25 while firefighters dealt with the incident.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The London Fire Brigade (LBI) was called at 12.16pm and firefighters had extinguished the fire by 12.54pm.

A LBI spokesperson said: “The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received 11 calls about the incident.
“Firefighters from Barnet and Edmonton fire stations and two crews from Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene.”
Delays on the M25 between junctions 24 and 25 had eased by 4.30pm, but traffic was still queuing between junctions 21 and 24.
