A 35-year-old mother is in a critical condition after she and her baby were taken to hospital following a collision in Finchley.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 11.21am on Friday (January 6) to reports of an incident involving a car and a pedestrian on East End Road, near the junction with Manor View.
The mother was treated at the scene, before she and her baby were taken to hospital. She remains in a critical condition, though the baby did not suffer any injuries.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
The police said the driver of the car stopped at the scene, and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A spokesperson added that there have been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
