A man is in critical condition after a collision on the North Circular Road in Barnet.
The Metropolitan Police were called to the junction with Pinkham Way at 12.37pm yesterday afternoon (November 23). A car had collided with a tree and a lamppost.
The driver, a man in his 60s, had to be cut out of his car by firefighters from the London Fire Brigade.
He was then treated at the scene by medics from London’s Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service before being transferred to hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or captured it on a dashcam or another device.
