A park has been sealed off by police following a report of a sexual assault.
A crime scene is currently in place at Hendon Park in Hendon (October 14).
The Metropolitan Police says it is in connection with a sexual assault that happened on the evening on Tuesday October 11.
No further details have been issued about the incident or the victim but police have confirmed no arrests have been made.
Parts of the park have been shut off to the public since at least 8.15am today.
A spokesperson added: “We appreciate the high volume of pedestrian traffic which moves through this park during the day and we are making efforts to complete these enquiries as swiftly, yet effectively, as possible.”
Barnet Council said in a statement this morning that it was aware of a police presence at the park.
It read: “We are aware of an incident in Hendon Park. The park will be closed until the police have concluded their investigations.”
