Cyclists from Barnet Green Party donned ivy, balloons and flags for a bike-ride around the borough on Saturday.
The cycle cavalcade, which set off from Finchley on Saturday, was organised to promote their campaign for 20mph speed limits, free cycle-training for children and the removal of one-way streets.
The group pedalled through the borough's high streets to hand out leaflets and election registration forms.
Miranda Dunn, Green Party candidate for Barnet and Camden in the GLA elections, said: "We're drawing attention to how vulnerable cyclists are in Barnet.
"Cycling is such a good and healthy way for our teenagers to get to school but if people like Brian Coleman (current Conservative GLA representative) do not back cycling and make sure it's safe for children, then our youngsters are at risk."
Mr Coleman declined to comment.
