Fire investigation teams are looking into the cause of a blaze which tore through an Edgware timber yard on Friday night.
Eight fire engines and around 40 firefighters worked into the early hours of Saturday to tackle the fire.
The whole of the 30-metre square yard and outbuildings, in Barnfield Road, was alight as crews with jets and breathing apparatus fought the flames.
The London Fire Brigade was called to the incident at about 9.45pm on Friday and the fire was under control by about 2.50am on Saturday.
A fire brigade spokesman said it was a large fire which took several hours to put out. He said the timber yard was "completely destroyed".
Firefighters remained on the scene, damping down the area, into Saturday afternoon.
Crews attended from Mill Hill, Stanmore, Barnet, Hendon, Finchley and Enfield.
