Singer Lemar will become a quizmaster for charity
Soul singer and Barnet resident Lemar is backing a major new fundraising event for Christian Aid Week this year.
QuizAid, which runs from May 11 to 17, will involve people across the UK holding quizzes in local pubs, offices, schools or homes to raise money for people in developing countries.
Potential quiz masters can apply for a QuizAid pack, which contains quiz questions and materials needed to publicise the event.
Brit and Mobo award-winning singer Lemar said: "This is a fantastic scheme.
"Having seen where the money goes in Uganda and Ethiopia, I definitely encourage people to take part and have fun for a good cause."
