Motorists may face disruption due to the temporary closure of several roads in and around the borough of Barnet, starting tomorrow.
Notices from Barnet Council in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail the extent of the closures and other restrictions that may be necessary while the works are carried out.
Garratt Road HA8 is set to be shut at its junction with High Street from tomorrow for 17 days for gas connection works.
The alternative route will be via High Street, Deansbrook Road, Heming Road and vice versa.
Moat Crescent N3 is set to be closed between No. 19 and No. 20 from Monday for 15 days for the installation of new storm water manholes and foul connection works to new developments.
Lawrence Street NW7 is set to be shut at its junction with Lawrence Gardens from 10pm to 5am for four nights from May 12 for upgrading telecommunications infrastructure.
The diversion will be via Highwood Hill, Marsh Lane, Apex Corner, A1 Watford Way, Mill Hill Circus, Lawrence Street and vice versa.
New Brent Street NW4 is due to be closed between North Street and Brent Street for three hours on May 16 for the painting of yellow line road markings.
The alternative route will be via Brent Street, Foster Street, Foster Walk and vice versa.
Another three-hour closure for the same purpose will temporarily shut Eaton Road NW4, also on May 16.
