Drivers using a major route in north-west London are facing disruption due to roadworks that could be carried out until September.
A notice from Transport for London in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times details restrictions affecting the A1 Watford Way and A41 Edgware Way to allow highway improvement and resurfacing works to take place.
The notice states the order will be effective at “certain times” from 10pm on February 12 to 6am on September 12 or when the works will have been completed.
The restrictions will be phased and only apply at times indicated by traffic signs at or near the relevant locations.
The order will prohibit vehicles from:
- Entering or proceeding on Watford Way north-west bound between its junctions with Mill Hill Circus and Mill Way.
- Entering or proceeding on Pike Road between its junctions with Ellesmere Avenue and Edgware Way
- Entering or proceeding on Edgware Way eastbound between its junctions with the roundabout at Spur Road / Green Lane and Northway Circus
- Entering or proceeding on Edgware Way westbound between its junction with Northway Circus and Stoneyfields Lane.
- A two-way operation on Pike Road between its junctions with Ellesmere Avenue and Edgware Way
