Arsenal FC will wear all-white kits to help tackle knife crime as part of their #NoMoreRed campaign.

The team will wear the newly designed kits for their third-round FA Cup match against Nottingham Forrest. 

The shirt has been designed with sports retailer Adidas, and although it will not be available for sale, the club and brand will donate the worn shirts to charities. 

Worn by the ten outfield players the shirts will be donated to charities that have been selected for their positive work supporting young people and tackling serious youth violence. 

Those charities are Arsenal in the Community, The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation, Steel Warriors, Don't Stab Your Future, Box Up Crime, Copenhagen Youth Project, St Giles Trust, Abianda, Octopus Community Network, and The Ben Kinsella Trust.

The campaign has been backed by Hollywood actor Idris Elba and former footballer Ian Wright, who in a video share "this game we love, can change our lives. we've got the colours they love. Let's use them, No More Red." 

The team decided to start the No More Red campaign after more than 10,000 knife crime offenses took place in London from June 2020 to June 2021. 

As well as last year seeing the highest number of teenage murders in a year in London since records began, most of which involved knife attacks. 

The club hopes it will make a positive difference in the community by investing and creating safe places to play football, creating a mentorship scheme, and to provide access to its talent network.
