Several streets in the Barnet area are set to be temporarily closed for roadworks, starting from Monday.
Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail the extent of the closures and other restrictions that may be implemented until the works are completed.
Stanford Road, outside Nos. 27 to 32, is set to be closed for three days from Monday for reinstatement works.
Motorists should use Stanford Road, Goldsmith Road, Friern Barnet Road and vice versa.
Ranulf Road NW2, between its junctions with Hocroft Road and Lyndale, is due to be shut for three days from December 13 for crane installation works.
The alternative routes will be via Lyndale, A41 Hendon Way and Hocroft Road; or Hocroft Road, A41 Hendon Way, Cricklewood Lane, Lichfield Road, Westbere Road, Mill Lane, Fortune Green Road, Ardwick Road and Ranulf Road.
Also from December 13, a four-day closure is due to start in Leicester Road EN5 at its junction with Warwick Road for reinstatement works.
The diversion will be via Warwick Road, Prospect Road, King Edward Road, Leicester Road and vice versa.
A three-day closure of Hyde Crescent NW9, outside No. 71, is set to start on January 3 to allow the installation of a new water connection.
The diversion will be via Goldsmith Avenue, Hyde Crescent and vice versa.
Creighton Avenue N2 at its junction with High Road is due to be shut to vehicles for one day on January 5 for sewer cleaning works.
The alternative route will be via High Road, Fortis Green, Twyford Avenue, Church Vale and vie versa.
Also from January 5, Ellesmere Road NW7 is set to be closed at its junction with A1 Barnet Way for three days for works.
Motorists are advised to use A1 Barnet Way, The Fairway, Fernside Avenue and vice versa.
