Huge queues have continued to form outside petrol stations in Barnet amid the ongoing rush for fuel.
This morning on Russell Lane in South Barnet the traffic was snaking back in both directions either side of the BP garage at around 10.30am.
An onlooker described it as being "a good 200 yards" but said it had eased back towards Church Hill Road as reportedly only diesel was available.
He also described the situation as "carnage" going along Oakleigh Road North to Whetstone with three 125 buses snarled up within 100 yards.
Elswhere the Esso garage in Finchley is reportedly already out of fuel along with the one at Neasden.
The Shell garage next door is said to have petrol but no diesel - with "huge queues" along the dual carriageway just to gain access.
It comes after dozens of cars gridlocked the Tesco garage in Friern Barnet last night.
Several other garages had closed to motorists including the Esso garages in New Barnet and Whetstone, as well as the BP on Russell Lane.

There are reports of almost 400 petrol stations nationwide imposing £30 limits on fuel to tackle the "unprecedented" customer demand.
The government has said there is "ample fuel stocks" despite a lack of HGV drivers fuelling fears of shortages.
