A programme of roadworks expected to last more than a year is due to start on Friday.
Although the lead pipe replacement scheme in Hamilton Road NW11 is scheduled to last for 54 weeks, temporary closures in the street are only set to last until September and will be undertaken in the following phases:
The closure between the junctions with Woodstock Avenue and Montpelier Rise will be in place from July 16 to August 12.
The closure between the junctions with Montpelier Rise and Elmcroft Crescent will be in place from August 12 to August 25.
The closure between the junctions with Elmcroft Crescent and Woodville Road will be in place from August 25 to September 1.
The closure between the junctions with Woodville Road and Highfield Avenue will be in place from September 1 to September 7.
Part of The Drive NW11 is set to be closed to vehicles for five days from Monday to lay a new water connection.
This will apply between the junctions with Limes Avenue and Beverley Gardens.
Motorists using Dollis Road NW7 are set to be affected by a closure due to last six weeks from July 26 for gas replacement works.
This will involve temporarily closing Dollis Road at its junction with Holders Hill Circus; closing Dollis Road outside Nos. 117 to 135; closing Holders Hill Circus slip road between its junctions with Holders Hill Road and Dollis Road (outside Thornfield Parade).
However, the Dollis Road closures will only be in place from July 26 to August 2, and the Holders Hill Circus slip road closure will be from August 2 to August 31.
Bell Lane NW4, between its junctions with Alexandra Road and Kings Close, is also due to be closed from July 26 for a total of 37 days for lead pipe services.
This work will be undertaken in three phases: between Alexandra Road and Albert Road; between Albert Road and Hillview Gardens; between Hillview Gardens and Kings Close.
The road outside Nos. 43 to 45 Mostyn Road HA8 is due to be closed on July 28 for cabling works.
A section of Brunswick Park Gardens N11, outside Nos. 59 to 63, is set to be shut to vehicles for five days from July 29 to repair a water valve.
