The roof of a house was destroyed in an early morning fire.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a semi-detached house on fire on Marlborough Gardens, Whetstone this morning (January 31) at around 3.27am.
One woman in the building was able to leave the property before the brigade arrived.
Fire crews from Southgate, Barnet, Finchley and Hornsey fire stations were at the scene and tackled the blaze until it was extinguished at 5.06am.
The roof of the home was destroyed by the blaze and there were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
