Two young gymnasts from north London have won silver against Scotland and Wales.
Zacharia Goodwin, 12, from Dwight International School in Friern Barnet and Jake Dias, 10, from St Marys Finchley, both won silver in the British Gymnastics Inter-Regionals on Saturday.
Zacharia now trains under Perdie Millard at the Dwight School a gymnastics academy for youngsters.
Zacharia said: “I am really grateful to Dwight School for the amazing support I get from them.
“The athletes at Dwight, train really long hours which could affect our schoolwork, but Dwight staff are fully aware and support us to make sure we keep up at all times.
“We have medallist ice skaters, gymnasts, basketball, swimming, netball and extreme sports champions at Dwight currently. Our Head, Alison Cobbin with her team, keep up with all our scores and cheer us on for every competition.
Zacharia said he will be performing at the Independent Schools Gymnastics Association next year.
