An over 55’s advice and information fayre was attended by hundreds of people last week.
Mike Freer the MP for Finchley and Golders Green held his fourth Over 55’s Advice and Information Fayre at Pardes House Primary School, Finchley, attended by over 300 people, on April 17.
The event, to which older people from across the area were invited, brought together over thirty local and national organisations, including charities, social clubs, the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and local authority services.
Mr Freer said: “The response from constituents and exhibitors has been incredibly positive.
“Many constituents who contact me are unaware of the organisations, both local and national, that are available to help and support them in later life.
“It was great to be able to bring a range of those organisations together in one place for constituents to be able to drop by and discuss issues in person.
“Thank you to all those who attended my Over 55s Advice and Information Fayre and thanks especially to Pardes House Primary School, Finchley, who kindly hosted us.”
