From the delightful West End adaptation of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to a novelty family quiz, North London’s artsdepot has big fun in store for February half term.
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
Saturday 16 – Thursday 21 February
Ages 3+
Kenny Wax Family Entertainment present the smash West End hit We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, adapted from Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury’s modern classic book. Audiences are invited on an adventure alongside an intrepid family on a quest to find a bear. Catchy songs, interactive scenes and plenty of hands-on adventure emerge from the gigantic swishy swashy grass, splishy splashy river and thick oozy mud.
Directed by Sally Cookson (Peter Pan, National Theatre) and set to a lively score by Benji Bower (A Monster Calls, Old Vic), this fun-filled adaptation is a celebration of play.
Pub Quiz for Kids

A traditional pub favourite receives the family treatment from Story Pocket Theatre. Story knowledge, family film and TV music rounds mixed with mystery rounds make for fantastic fun for the whole family. Fierce competition and lots of laughs await contestants from age 5+. Acclaimed stand-up comedian Patrick Monahan hosts the quiz, guaranteeing an enjoyable time for all generations.

The Amazing Bubble Man, Louis Pearl, explores the breathtaking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and spellbinding bubble tricks. From square bubbles to rocket bubbles, tornado bubbles to flying saucer bubbles, his tricks regularly conjure shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement.
Louis Pearl, based in the USA, has been thrilling audiences worldwide for over thirty years with the art, science and fun of bubbles. The inventor of the Bubble Trumpet has enjoyed sold-out shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and artsdepot.
