A fire ripped through an abandoned pub and destroyed the building.
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and police officers were called to The Jester pub, in Cockfosters, in the late hours of Friday night.
The fire brigade was called at around 9pm and the fire was under control by 1.09am Saturday.
It was heavily damaged and the roof collapsed.
A caravan in the pub’s car park was also destroyed by the fire.
The pub closed down in April 2013 the pub has not been used for the past five years.
Fire crews from Barnet, Southgate, Finchley and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is under investigation.
