We don't know the ins and outs of the decision to evict the Finchley Arts Centre Trust (FACT) from the Bothy.
However, we do know that over the past few years we have supported their reconstruction project by attending theatre performances and donating money to the cause.
Seeing the derelict building being slowly transformed into a thriving public space gave us great joy and pride.
Our seven-year-old daughter loved last summer's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream so much, that when we told her that FACT needed money, she decided to bake some brownies and sell them in the park to raise money.
She collected more than £11, which she donated to the project. She has the thank you letter from the chairman proudly displayed in her room.
So, we are now quite shocked at the apparently high-handed manner in which they have been evicted. In spite of reading the press regularly we have not been able to find any explanation for the actions.
It now seems like the whole regneration project has been halted for no clear reason.
Surely as a local trust the first priority should be the well-being of the community.
Please explain to us in what way the eviction of FACT from the Bothy makes our local park and community a better place.
