CCTV has been released after an elderly woman had her purse stolen and hundreds of pounds withdrawn.
The theft happened at Tesco in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar at about 1pm on Friday, June 12.
Thieves took the purse, placed it inside a Tesco carrier bag and left the shop.
They quickly withdrew £260 from various cash points around Potters Bar, including one at Sainsbury’s in Drakes Lane at around 1.50pm on June 12.
Hertfordshire Police have released CCTV images of two women they wish to speak to as part of their enquiries.
PC Paul Francis from Potters Bar Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “I am keen to speak to the women pictured as they may be able to provide me with information in relation to any unusual people or activity around the cash point at Sainsbury’s.
“I would also like to speak to anyone that saw any suspicious people around cashpoints across Potters Bar on this date as it may help us to identify the offenders.”
