A jury has retired to consider its verdict in the trial of a police marksman who shot and killed Azelle Rodney.
Anthony Long, 58, shot Azelle Rodney, 24, in Hale Lane, Edgware in April 2005 after officers stopped the car he was travelling in with two other men.
Police believed they were on their way to carry out an armed robbery.
The trial opened at the Old Bailey last month and the jury retired yesterday.
Mr Long, who lives in Leatherhead, Surrey, denies murder.
