Finola Cash was jailed for six years at the Old Bailey after pleading guilty to manslaughter
A mother whose one-year-old son drowned in the bath has been jailed for manslaughter.
Finola Cash, 32, was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment at the Old Bailey today after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of Ricky Cash at a hearing on March 30.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to an address in Whitchurch Lane, Edgware at approximately 4.20pm on August 23 last year to reports of an unresponsive child in the bath.
The baby was taken to hospital but died on September 22.
A post-mortem gave the cause of death as immersion in a bath.
A multi-agency Serious Case Review is underway, commissioned by Harrow Local Safeguarding Board.
