A care home for elderly people has been commended by a health watchdog for its safety and "compassionate" staff.
The Care Quality Commission rated the Athenaeum Residential Care Home, in Athenaeum Road, Whetstone, as ‘good’ in all five categories during an inspection in March.
The report says that people were supported by "caring, compassionate staff" at the home, which looks after up to 21 elderly people.
One person told them: “I have been here longer than I care to remember and I have always felt safe and am well looked after.”
Staff also told inspectors they enjoyed their jobs and received the support they needed.
