An optician took on a mountainous challenge to raise money for charity.
Rakesh Kapoor, store director of Specsavers Edgware, completed the national three peaks challenge in aid of the Royal National Institute of Blind People, raising nearly £2,000.
He completed the challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, last month alongside other Specsavers store directors.
Mr Kapoor said: “The level of support and generosity that I’ve received from my team and customers has been overwhelming. We thank everyone who contributed to the charity and to those who have shown their support for the blind or partially sighted.”
