A fire which tore through a derelict building in Potters Bar is being treated as arson by police.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called shortly after 2am yesterday to the scene in Barnet Road, Potters Bar, where a two-storey house was alight.
The blaze was put out at 5.59am.
A Hertfordshire Police spokesman said: “It has been crimed as arson and the investigation is currently ongoing.”
Fire crews and five fire engines from Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Cheshunt and St Alban’s attended.
