Supermarket staff helped raise £1,615 for an elderly people’s charity.
The Sixty Plus Lunch Club received the cash from Sainsbury’s Potters Bar, in Darkes Lane, as part of the shop’s local charity of the year scheme.
The money was raised from cake sales, tombolas and customer donations.
