A group of brownies were put through their paces to complete their book lover badges.
The 6th Mill Hill Brownies, aged seven to ten, completed a series of challenges to earn the badge, including visiting Edgware library, keeping a book log and discussing what they had read.
Megan, nine, said “I am really proud to have completed the Book Lovers Badge because it has helped me improve my reading and visiting the library was really fun.”
Michelle Baker, Brown Owl at 6th Mill Hill Brownies, said: “Guiding is about giving girls the confidence to make their own decisions and making sure that they are doing activities that they are interested in. The Brownies really enjoyed our visit to Edgware library.
“Although they had a lot of fun, they were there to work towards gaining their badges as well. This trip is just one example of the great activities that girls get to take part in through guiding and the adult leaders have a lot of fun too.”
