A woman is in a critical condition after a collision involving a bus.
Police were called to Finchley Road at 11.52pm last night to reports of a female pedestrian injured in a collision.
The London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and police officers attended the scene and found a woman in her 20s trapped beneath a bus.
She was recovered from beneath the vehicle and taken to a central London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the bus spoke to officers and is assisting them with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and have asked for witnesses to come forward.
