An appeal has been launched to find a missing 47-year-old man from New Southgate.

Mark Arand, of Benfleet Way, was last seen at 1am last Thursday at his home address, and is believed to have visited The Spires Shopping Centre, in Barnet, yesterday.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall and of stocky build, with short dark hair.

It is believed he left home wearing dark trousers or jeans and a navy coloured Tottenham Hotspur football top, and carrying a brown messenger bag.

Police officers are concerned for his wellbeing, and have released a photo in the hope it may help identify him.
