Chipping Barnet MP Theresa Villiers is to continue in her role as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
The announcement was made as Prime Minister David Cameron completed his cabinet reshuffle following last week’s General Election.
Ms Villiers, who has represented Chipping Barnet since 2005, has held the post of Northern Ireland Secretary since 2012.
Last week's election saw her receive 25,759 votes, a 48.6 per cent share of the total.
